Joe's Crab Shack is a seafood chain reminiscent of Red Lobster but with funkier decor. My sister and I went on a Sunday night and it was packed. We had to wait about 15 minutes to get a drink at the bar. The margarita was very tasty though and had a nice amount of alcohol.
Our table was decorated with strange pictures and captions like, "Make sure it's a cow before you milk it". I ordered a platter with broiled tilapia, etouffee, and fried shrimp, clams, hushpuppies and french fries. The etouffee was barely warm and very bland. There were only 3 clams, 3 hush puppies and one fish filet. The rest of my rather large plate was covered in popcorn shrimp, french fries and rice but cost almost $16. All dishes come with complimentary salad and bread. The salad and cornbread were very good, the rolls- just okay.
