On Forbes Ave., right near the Attic, there is a small entry way for the Golden Palace Buffet. If you weren't looking for it, you would walk right past it. To be honest, the first time that I walked inside, I wanted to turn around and walk out. It isn't very much to look at inside. What made me stay were the amount of people that were happily enjoying their meals. Just about every table was filled with students or employees at the hospitals.
I'm really glad that I ended up eating there because the food is pretty good. It's typical Chinese buffet food, but it tastes good and is replenished often. The selection isn't as large as some of the newer buffets, but there is still plenty to choose from, and the price is right at $6 which includes a drink. I have eaten there many times, and have always enjoyed it.
