This small restaurant is a popular choice among the state worker crowd just north of the Capitol. And it's no surprise why. They've got a wonderful bowl of rice, veggies and topped with either grilled chicken or beef (thus, their name). But, they've also got some of the best mexican plates around this area for the lunch crowd.
Their cheese enchiladas are a no-frills enchiladas with a red sauce, paired with rice and beans. Their beef caldo (Mexican version of beef soup) has great, big chunky pieces of beef cooked until most tender and chunky vegetables in a wonderful broth.
If you work around the area, you've got to check this place out. They've got many choices, from enchiladas, salads, quesadillas and their chicken/beef bowl, they should have what you're looking for.
And if you're looking for breakfast tacos, this one also fills the void.
