Here ye, here ye:
Kaosamai is probably #1 on my lunch circuit choices and I think it's possible that my preference for this restaurant far exceeds most people's. There are a few basic advantages that push this place in front of its competitors:
1) Options. Their lunch specials will fill pretty much any thai craving you're experiencing. With one order I can get phad thai, swimming rama, satay and soup. Not having to choose between one or the other is clutch.
2) Pleasant surroundings. The inside seating is light and affable. Even better is the large outdoor deck for nice weather.
3) Candy bowl. Filled to the brim. I haven't even gotten a dirty look yet for taking more than one butterscotch.
In short, Seattle is in no short for Thai restaurants, but this one is a keeper.
