My husband and I had been long-time Nationwide customers. We had our car insurance and our home owners insurance through Nationwide. I have had a perfect driving record my whole life, without so much as a parking ticket. I was in a very minor fender-bender in a parking lot a few months ago, where the other driver and I were directly behind each other and bumped bumpers pulling out of our spots. We were both looking left and right, but didn't see the other pulling out directly behind us. The Nationwide adjuster who finally called me was unprofessional, at best. She told me she really did not have time for this because she was getting her wedding pictures taken the next day. I never heard from her again. Two months later I found out she accepted, on my behalf, total responsibility for the accident. I now have 2 points on my insurance and we are paying through the nose for coverage. Her bosses both agreed that she was wrong, but they were unwilling to rectify the situation. Basically, Nationwide is NOT on your side.
