Recently my daughters cell phone met with a bottle of coke. Luckily we have the insurance on the phone so we knew it would be ok. Little did we know the hoops you have to jump through to get the replacement. First we went to the Qwest kiosk where we bought the phone. We explained what happened they looked at the phone (which would not even turn on). Then they proceed to question me on whether or not I purchased the insurance. (I have 2 teenagers with cell phones and have had to replace more than I can remember - YES I bought the insurance) Then they proceeded to tell me that I needed to call the insurance company. Gave me the phone number - Couldn't they just call the number there? So we called the number - closed. So I call in the morning - Who answers the phone - Qwest customer service ??????????????????????????? I do have to say that the replacement phone was delivered the next day!!!!! I also learned that if you lose your phone, you have to file a police report before they will replace the phone. more
