When I first went here just over 10 years ago, I didn't think this place had much time left. There were quite a number of store vacancies and there was little build up of places around the mall. That has all changed and the Foothills mall is vibrant and going strong now. You wont find typical anchor stores for a mall here. At one end is Barnes & Nobles and Linens N Things while the other has Ross and Nike Outlet. In between you have a theater and a bunch of other small stores that typify mall shopping. Around the mall there has been an explosion of restaurants (Macaroni Grill, Outback Steakhouse, Applebee's, Wild Noodles, and Fox & Hound to name a few) and even a Walmart now. Overall the size is smaller than Park Place or Tucson mall, but the deals can be plentiful.
