I love haunted houses, and this one is set in a gorgeous part of San Diego. The setting in Old Town makes it all the more authentic. This haunted house is scary, but still fun enough to make it ideal for all ages. Going at night makes it all the more scary, and it does cost more to take a night tour. You're probably only going to visit this haunted house once, therefore, I recommend you spring the extra money to go during the evening. The staff is fun and friendly at the Whaley House, and you can tell they're having just as much fun as the people touring.
