Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum is a fun stop along San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf. The museum is in many ways, a tribute to the old-style carnival shows and features oddities and artifacts that let you decide whether to "believe it or not".
Among the shrunken heads and weird articles in the collection are a number of things that may be quite frightening to young children. Some of the museum is a bit like a chamber of horrors, so parents will sensitive kids will want to consider weather their kids are ready for this museum or not.
