I love liquidators. I love the prices, I love the idea of finding things I didn't know I needed. I hated St. John's Liquidators.
First off, the staff was very inattentive. A young girl and boy were behind the counter seemingly more interested in making cow eyes at each other than paying attention to customers.
The place was filthy. Dust was everywhere and products didn't just look dusty...it felt as though I'd walked into a 70's Newberry's store that had been left as-is and rediscovered decades later...with somewhat higher prices.
Items behind the counter and items on the shelves were often the same, indicating that the store itself held very little value in its own merchandise.
Also, the store was dark and dank and gave the feeling of a poorly-set up garage. For the first time in years, I did not purchase a single item in a liquidators upon first visit.
This is one I'm not likely to return to.
