I love the Diamond Head Theatre because it show cases the talents in Hawaii. They have a lot of "local" performances which relate to the culture of Hawaii. When you see a show there, you will be amazed to find how much talent there really is in Hawaii. I think Diamond Head Theatre is just as comparable to the other theatres on the island, such as the Hawaii Theatre as there is no bad seat in the theatre.
I'd definitely recommend going there to experience the local talents. Get your tickets early though, because they go quick.
