Here is the thing about Disney World and the hotels, even if you can afford to stay at one of the deluxe hotels you hardly spend any time in your hotel room. I'm someone who is not sure it is worth spending $400 a night on a hotel room I am basically only going to sleep, shower and change in.
If you agree, Pop Century is a great choice- it is a value resort, but you are still on Disney Property so you will still be in the Disney Magic. While it is not the most sophisticated resort, I found the rooms to be clean and comfortable and the grounds were well maintained.
The decor is bright and large outside and not everyone's taste, but it is fun and whimsical!
