Having missed out on eating sushi for nine months of my pregnancies, I was ready to dig back in. So when I heard that a new sushi bar had opened in Riverside, I decided to give it a try. I went for a late lunch, not too many people dining inside, yet quite a few. Had there been too many more people inside the restaurant, I'm afraid it would have felt a bit claustrophobic.
The waitress was very friendly, taking time out to talk to the children and converse with the adults as well. I ordered a lunch portion of Vegetable Tempura and one order of Salmon Skin Rolls. The veggie tempura was excellent and included a side of rice, a salad with ginger dressing, and a bowl of Miso soup. The Salmon Skin rolls, were kind of disappointing and lacking in the flavor department. I asked for some eel sauce to jazz them up a bit, and it did not help too much.
Overall it was a very pleasant experience and the price was right, so I am sure I would dine there again.
