While, unfortunately, the owner is no longer with us... she really did make the place what it was.... they have been able to keep the small town, corner bar atmosphere that has always been the signature of this little corner bar.
Not a huge place and often tough to get a place to sit if you hit it at the right (or perhaps I should say wrong) times but it's worth waiting for a spot!
They have some of the best wings in town. Great brews on tap and typical drinks offered. Nothing ritzy and special.
Great homemade fries, veggie plate with ranch for dipping can be ordered with your wings and all in all some great food for the offering.
The atmosphere is generally very family oriented and nice. Locals come by to watch the games and such while they munch on good food.
The biggest drawbacks are parking and the number of tables available. If you're willing to put up with a wait sometimes and a little walk up the street to get there... it's well worth the trouble to get some of the best wings and homemade fries in Erie!
