Not Luxury, but OK 11/15/2005

Washington Plaza Apartments claims to be 'affordable luxury housing convenient to downtown and Oakland' It is relatively affordable, definetly not luxury, and only sort-of convenient. Rent runs about $1200 (with utilities) for a 2 bedroom apartment, which is manageable with a couple living in one of the rooms. Luxury-wise, I guess the carpet is nice and big windows are fun. That's about where the luxury ends-- except they have an outside pool that is open 2 months a year. Convience, eh... you can't leave the apartment building after 11pm since you're located 'conviently' in the heart of Uptown and the Hill District. Overall, an OK place for Duquesne or Pitt students looking for an off-campus change. more
