Seaport village is a outdoor "mall" on the embarcadero in san diego. It is awesome for tourists and really caters mostly to them. If you're living in san diego, it is a must to take any out of state visitors to because it is awesome views and also has great food and shopping.
the only drawback is that it is super busy on weekends and the parking can be difficult. The shops also cater to tourists so they are a little pricey but you can find some very unique items there.
a definite to go to at least once, and also to bring any visitors in town to see.
