Although I have never had a problem with their sales department, I do think their maintenance department is deficient. I took my car in to Brown's because the engine light was on. After paying an initial diagnostic fee, I was told they did not know what the problem was. They offered to fix one thing which they didn't even know was broken and causing the engine light to come on. They told me if they fixed that one thing (for almost $700) and the light came on again, they would just keep picking and choosing what to replace to see what the problem was. Considering the the car was manufactured by this company, I would expect them to be able to determine and fix any problems presented by a Mazda.
