This restaurant is a good place to go for real authentic mexican food. The eatery is family owned and opperated, and their lunch and dinner specials are very affordable. Although the restaurant is family run, the service is nothing great. The teanaged waitresses are usually not very friendly. Another drawback is that they close at 8 pm every night. Sometimes I am just getting ready to go eat at that time. Because of this, we don't eat at la familia very often.
