I attended a concert (KT Tunstall) here on September 11th. I had never heard of this place so I didn't really know what to expect. We arrived a little early to avoid the rush, and walked into this big empty building with three two stories. The main floor is a huge open space with a bar off to the side and in the very back. The are a few tables and chairs in the back bar but nothing in the rest of the place. I didn't get a chance to go upstairs but you could see up there because it's very loft like. There were bathrooms on both floors, bars on both floors, and a medium sized stage on the main floor. lol. The bathrooms on the main floor don't have doors so you kind of feel like you are out in public, but the ones upstairs DID have doors.
Whew..okay, now to the fun stuff. The speakers were excellent! The music pumped, the bartenders were great and the booze flowed freely. Even if a bit pricey ($7 for a mixed drink, $4 for a beer) Even the bouncer checking id's at the door was nice.
I had a very good time, and recommend you attend any concert at Amos's.
