We recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn Market Center for one night while traveling through Dallas. I booked it with my Marriott Rewards points. The area didn't seem very safe because there were lots of signs in the parking lot about locking your cars, hiding your belongings, etc. The lobby is on the side of the hotel, which is rather deceiving. We walked to the wrong door at first and I saw others do the same later. The lobby and breakfast area are tiny which made for a crowd the next morning at breakfast. The room was small and definitely dated, though the bedding and chairs seemed to have been updated recently. The AC didn't work very well so the hallways were stuffy. There was a lot of noise from other guests in the hallway. I can't really complain because I got the room for free with my points, but I wouldn't have wanted to stay there for more than one night. If you're planning a longer stay (even a weekend), look elsewhere. There are lots of hotels in the immediate area.
