Schenley's park and reserve is a beautiful place to spend a warm day. It was rennovated a few years ago and is still constantly being upkept by park rangers and by volunteers. Volunteering in the park is a perfect way to spend any weekend (especially with a group or friends). You will get hands on interactions with nature and you get to choose how much work you'd like to put in. The water pond is really pretty, especially when the fountain is on and is a great place to picnic.
