My husban and I went to the Bob Evans in Battle Creek recently. We rarely go out without our children, so it was a special night. After our waitress seated us, she seemed to disapeer. It took forever for her to come back and take our order. After we placed our order, it took a long time to get our order. The waitress left, and then my husband noticed that there were items missing from his meal. We could not locate our waitress, and had to approach another waitress, who said she would tell our waitress. Our waitress did not come back to our table until she brought our check. We then asked her about the missing items, she said she had forgotten. She said she would be right back with it. We also asked for drink refills. The waitress then brought back our missing items, but forgot the refills. So, we had to wait several more minutes for her to bring drinks. When I went up to pay for the meal, the cashier asked if I wante to add a tip onto the check. I really didn't, because we had received horrible service. I asked the cashier if she could calculate what 15% would be, when she told me, "Actually, it's TWENTY percent, not Fifteen." I firmly told her that I was only tipping FIFTEEN. I was really annoyed that she would try to tell me how much I had to tip.
