Unethical Auto Business Process 10/9/2005

Last year we bought a used Honda Accord from this dealer and we have had so many problems with the car since then. We later came to know that this car was involved in a major accident. Just after buying the car in a few days it started giving us problems and we had to change its transmission. After that the paint on the bumper and bonnet started chipping off. The auto body person then told us that it was a very poorly painted job which stays good only for a few days. We have had many other problems too. This dealer is a very shrewd person. He buys cars which are involved in major accidents, gets a poor job done in fixing the problems just so that they cannot be visibly seen. He get false reports of a different minor accident and tries to cover up the car fax report , he also shows you a 90 point checkup done on the car, which is again a false report. All these documents make you beleive its a good car where as its a junk piece of auto. He gives no type of warranty . We heard from other people that they too were victims of similar scam by this same dealer. Stay away and do not buy any cars from him. Even if you want to buy a car, get your own car check done. We bought this car when i was 8 months pregnant with my baby and I had requested him that if he knew there were any problems with the car he could tell me just so that i could fix the problems ahead of time and would not have problems once the baby was here. He assured me that it was a great car, we wounldnt have any problems with it. And I ended up spending more time fixing the car than being with the baby. more
