The zoo staff recommended Tiki's Bar and Grill to us as the best place to eat nearby. So we tried it. We were thankfully given shady porch seats with a good breeze coming off the ocean enhanced by an overhead fan and lots of water. Service by a new waitress was somewhat slow and only occurred because management was making sure. Our food -- we both ordered shish kabobs was tasty and good, but mine had to be sent back three times in order to get it cooked well done. My advice, order a different entree if you like well done beef. The salad was sized for two, tasty and fresh and with lots of much appreciated fruit. A nice place to eat and a welcome rest after the zoo.
