Due Amici is a delicious and inventive Italian restaurant if you're in the mood for Italian. It has the classic Italian staples, of course, as well as a range of interesting pastas.
The restaurant itself is on the small side for the amount of clientèle it attracts. It's a reclaimed little building in downtown Columbus. Reservations are helpful on evenings toward the end of the week, and I wouldn't recommend trying to take a big party on a Saturday night. We ended up waiting 45 minutes longer than our reservation time, but we had 10 people.
You can't go wrong with the Chicken Parmesan or the
Asiago & Sun Dried Tomato in Black Pepper Pasta with tomato cream sauce. The black pepper pasta is a wonderful compliment without being too spicy. However if you want spicy, try the Jerk Chicken Cilantro pasta- delicious.
It's not overly fancy, but you'll see the trendy and the business crowd here, as well as the arts patrons.
