I was never a fan for fitness club, but I signed up with Lifetime Fitness right away after a visit to their facilities. Everything is so state of the art: tons of cardio exercise machines for working out of different part of the body, weight center, a variety of fitness classes (from basic exercise to hip hop, yoga, pilates, kickboxing, etc. ), great indoor and outdoor pool (just like the ones in the amusement park), spacious childcare center (my son loves it so much he actually consider that a place to go for fun, just like playing in the park), and plus all kinds of activities for kids, too. There is no contract to sign, anytime you don't like it, just cancel the membership. I really enjoy it.
