Saigon Sandwiches used to be my favorite place to get Vietnamese sandwiches in the city, until I discovered Baguette Express. This place is located about one block up from their competitor, and I do believe they win out because of the sheer variety of sandwiches as compared to Saigon Sandwich. There are 10 on the menu, including shredded chicken (my favorite!), the shop is spic and span, and the french baguettes are always crusty and fresh. Talk about a deal for only $2.50 a sandwich. Fresh sugar cane juice as well, three color drink, iced coffee, and some rice plates.
