The Children's Museum is a wonderful place to take the young ones on a rainy day. Located close to the CWRU campus and a number of other museums, it could easily fit in as a break when touring these other less-kid friendly venues or as a destination on its own.
Several of the exhibits rotate so there's often something new. And, for locals, you can sign up for their e-mail newsletter announcing events throughout the year.
