My husband and I recently ate at Macaroni Grill for an early Sunday dinner. When we arrived the place was nearly empty and we were given a great table. Our server was very attentive, took our order promptly and was good about getting refills to us.
I love the bread that is brought to the table shortly after you arrive and served with olive oil and fresh black pepper. I ordered eggplant parmesan and it was beyond excellent. My husband ordered a pizza and they had a problem with that. We had waited quite awhile for our meals when the manager came to our table to explain that my husband's pizza had gotten ruined in the oven and that they were making him a new pizza and making me a new meal so mine would be fresh and hot at the same time as his. While I hated to wait I was impressed that the manager informed us right away of the problem and that they were remaking my meal so that it would be good at the same time.
Our waiter stopped by to ask what the manager had wanted and when we told him, he explained that many times the pizza will stick to the stone if the oven has gotten too hot and he was sure that is what happened.
Our food was worth the wait and we left very satisfied. We will certainly be back.
