When I was ready to propose to my now wife, I went to Di Lusso because we had a friend that worked there. He highly recommended we buy a clarity enhanced stone and the one he showed us looked just as good as a regular diamond but at a very reasonable price. I have to admit that the ring looked incredible and still does but the diamond that we were sold was very different from what we shown. After questioning it we went to get it appraised from an independent appraiser. We didn't tell him the situation to avoid any bias or who sold us the diamond for that same reason. instead of an SI 1 what we were told the diamond was an I1 which is very different. Shortly there after some friends who got theirs at the same place found their diamond had a crack the length of their diamond and their SI1 also came back to be an I1. When we tried to get our money back they refused saying that we were told everything that we needed to know. We are still in the process of trying to get our money back and are taking them to court over it. In their credit, we got a $4000 discount on our diamond that came back legitimate.
