Feierabend, down the street from REI, is a welcome addition to the Seattle pub scene. Open for lunch and dinner, this pub makes Germany (or at least some of its food) feel within reach. The curry fries were worth the trip alone. Crisp fries served with ketchup tinged with curry washed down with a dark German beer is an almost perfect confluence of food and drink. The schnitzel is one of the best in the city-though the taste also seems to be influenced by curry. Happy hour, featuring big pretzels and fried pickle's, and lots of beer would be a welcome addition to anyone's day. Service and ambiance overall are great though I would not recommend going here whenever a private party is taking place. While they do have an area set aside for the party my group felt extremely crowded as the party pushed out of its boundaries.
