Discovery Care has a great reputation, but we have not found thatit lives up to it. My son started there at exactly one year of age -- we had a nanny previously -- and we were very disappointed in the Infant II class he was placed in (12 - 16 months). While care is adequate, there is very little structured activity in that group and my son was also bitten on average 2 times a week for 3 months until he transitioned out. The staff, again while adequate, do not seem to put much effort into stimulating play for the toddlers and pretty much just have free play all day where they watch them do whatever they want.
He's in Toddler I now and while it is somewhat better -- he does come home with artwork everyday and they play outside more regularly, I think above average children still need more than they get there. Like said, they have a great reputation, but I have not been overly impressed thus far.
They are open from 6AM till 8PM because they service the hospital, so that works well if you have a less than perfect schedule.
