Disney Character Dining is a great way to entertain your kids and have a great meal at the same time! While my family usually prefers a character breakfast, all of the meals we've had have been great. The characters come to each table so no one is left out!
Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom (Pooh and Friends)--breakfast here is fantastic. A huge buffet with many delicious choices. We try to do this one several times a year. Lunch and dinner are good too but more expensive. If we have a character breakfast, we'll try to have it late morning and then just have a snack for lunch and then dinner.
O'Hana at the Polynesian Resort (Mickey and friends)--a good breakfast but not our favorite. Served family style at your table.
Restaurantosaurus at Animal Kingdom (Donald and Friends)--another really good breakfast. Doesn't seem to be as many choices as at Crystal Palace but still a good value.
Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom (Goofy and friends)--this is a turkey dinner with all the trimmings--good food served family style. Not our favorite but a good option.
We've also had character meals at the Grand Floridian hotel but I can't remember the name of the restaurant. The meals were good--Chip and Dale were in rare form at the breakfast--hilarious. Cinderella made an appearance at dinner.
There are several other options for character dining throughout the "World" including a new "Toy Story" breakfast at MGM Studios starting in April 2006. I suggest you make a reservation for any character meal as soon as you know you are headed to Disney. It's almost impossible to get in without a reservation anymore.
