I went to Superfresh on 8905 Belair Road, Perry Hall, Md 21236 on March 29th. I also took my mother and cousin. I found that seven items that I went for, because of them being on, sale were out of stock. I went to the service desk to get raincheck. Then I noticed that my coupons were going to expire before this store received another truck. I ask to talk with a manager. I Explained to the manager that my coupons would be expiring. She saw I had more than one coupon and said well you know you only can get one doubled I told her I completely understand. However, they will be expired. Is there anything she could do for us. I ask if she could note on the raincheck to let us use one coupon eventhough, it is expired one or two days. She looked at the girl there with her and said I guess we could because we send our bag in once a week. The manager than explained to me that the coupons come out a month or two before they expire and I should use them before the coupon expires whether the product was on sale or not. When I repeated her statement back to her word for word she started back peddling. She said she did not mean that. That the coupons are first come first serve. Your manager did absolutely nothing to help me, or my mother, or my cousin. As a matter of fact she did say well a lot of people are getting rainchecks. This says to me that you did not order enough of the sale item to begin with.
Then I purchased my order and found out that a .50 cent coupon that I have was not doubled I asked why and was told that your policy is only one coupon no matter what the value is doubled. Your signs do not say all coupons it only deals with the coupon policy over fifty cents. I can't believe that your store would only double one coupon no mater the amount. All the food stores I have been in, in the state of Maryland double at least four coupons fifty cents and under. Weis doubles two over fifty cents and four under fifty cents. I do most of my shopping at weis however, you had a good sale and I thought why not give you a try. Well, you failed in customer service as well as being a well stocked store. It is not economically sound to go to your store, if I have to buy on coupon item at a time no mater what, gas is just too expensive to drive to your store everyday to get two or three products if I am lucky because you don't keep the products in stock.
My family was very surprised that your manager, as well as customer service person did not care if I left that store a satisfied customer or not. Maybe your company makes so much money that you as a corporation don't care about customer service. Or maybe it is the other way around and you are going out of business and really can't afford to double any coupons so you deter people from using them. I can tell you this that it is not worth the gas I have to spend to come to your store for one coupon nor is it worth the aggravation when you don't have the merchandise and your management team makes no effort to make this right. I can tell you that I more than likely will not be back to your store for a while and since my cousin depends on me driving I can't see her going if I don't. My mom well she was not treated in my opinion respectfully so I can't see her going back.
There is a website that you can go to that allows you to talk about your experiences at stores. This site is very popular and I use it often when I am going to a new store. I hope my experience with your company can help someone else avoid the aggravation.
