Birdneck Village is a great apartment complex with reasonable prices. The close proximity to the beach is one of the main selling points, yet Birdneck costs hundreds of dollars less per month than many of the apartments in the area. Neighbors seem to be generally friendly , although they don't stay long due to the ever changing military population in the area. The complex's website is a fantastic tool, as it allows you to pay your rent online, share messages with other community members and win prizes by accumulating points for various things. The jets overhead from the nearby jet base can get a little loud at times, but the noise is something that is easily adjusted to. Although Birdneck Village is not the newest complex in the area, it is definately one of the best and most reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
