I love the Autry museum. I really do. In fact, I even have two of their felt (?) little coinpurses as souvenirs. I really enjoyed the exhibits but that was because I had a thing for history and how the exhibits were so well put. The fur trade exhibit that I recently saw was really quite pleasant even if the matter was of a gruesome nature. My son came and wanted to be, like every other boy, a Western cowboy. In fact, this museum was even more fun than the tiny Los Angeles zoo and a short distance away from the wonderful but closed Griffith Observatory.
