Please run the other way! This practice only delivers at Summerville Medical which is a low budget outdated facility which is under construction. I've gone to Summerville Medical three times and the third was my last. I made it all the way to the delivery floor without so much of a question from any of the staff. The Labor and Delivery tour had us all walking through hanging plastic and knocked out walls only to come to extremely small rooms with out dated medical equipment. I went to Women's Health Partners for an appointment as my arm went numb from the shoulder down I was turfed over to Summerville Medical because high risk patients can only see MD's and none of them take afternoon appointments lol how convenient. I was told to report to their extended department and upon check in as usual the staff were rude and refused to allow me on the prenatal ward as I was instructed and sent me over to the ER section where the staff sent me back to try and check in with OB. Once there again she sent me back to ER saying no OB staff were on call at the time (lucky I wasn't in labor) and that I would have to go to ER. Once back at ER side the gentleman was upset at my return and barked at the volunteer to just put me back in room #21. There was blood on the floor from a previous patient the bed was wet soaking through the sheets and the vital tech demanded I sit there for vitals when I thought the chair I had chosen served the same purpose (she didn't win that battle). The Nurses behind the counter within ear shot were excited for the weekend so I was entertained at their conversation of how she needed a firmer buttock and how 2 glasses of wine and shot of Tequila would help her through her shift. Needless to say I am so done I'm transferring to MUSC which by the way I still cant make an appointment with them because after 2 weeks since my last appointment with Women's Health Partners they have not transferred my care or records although they dropped me out of their system for transfer. So I am 34 weeks pregnant without medical care due to the incompetent staff assigned to this facility. Please I would hire a midwife or my Home Economic Teacher from 10 years ago in High School to deliver my child before I leave it up to them or Summerville Medical.
