Rapidly losing my hair to alopecia I decided to give Bitz-n- Pieces a try even though I've read many reviews about the rudeness of the staff, and the $35 dollar consultation fee. I picked out two straight wigs because they had nothing with a bit of a curl. I liked the darker piece but the stylist push the lighter piece and like a jerk I ordered it. When I picked it up JT asked me where I wanted my part and when I wasn't certain because I've had short hair for years and don't wear a part he combed it back and said to wear it and decide. I parted it at home and being that there was nothing under the lace the part looked huge and the hair on top looked very sparse. I made an appointment to have it looked at; I told the stylist that it would need hair added and possibly it should be dyed to match the color of the first wig that I liked. He then offered to see if it was possible to exchange the wig for the first one I had liked, as it had never been styled or worn. He returned with what appeared to be the first wig saying he had gotten an OK for the exchange but the wig cost an extra $300. I was delighted to be able to exchange it given their policy. I was told that I should not attempt to style or even shampoo the wig myself but use them for all cleaning and styling. Once I got home and examined it closely it clearly was not the first wig I had selected, as it had a different cap and had been cut and layered. So all told I was charged $1800 for a used wig. Sadly all the negative reviews seem to be the truth. I will be contacting both Bitz-n-Pieces and the Better Business Bureau to seek redress.\r \r JK, NYC more
