I am writing today with the intent to educate you on two robberies that occurred in our Executive Member locker room. For the past twelve years, I have been a member here at the LA Club. Over this period, I have formed many friendships, enjoyed the facility, etc.; however, after being robbed TWICE my feelings have changed. \r

On the week ending July 13, 2012 when the first incident took place, I did not realize money was missing rom my wallet until I had left the gym. Like anyone, I thought maybe it was at home; therefore, I did not give it much thought. On July 19, 2012 I went to purchase food at Blu and realized four-thousand nine-hundred and fifty dollars ($4,950.00) was missing from my wallet. I knew the exact amount because I had gone to Citizens Bank prior to coming to the gym. I immediately reported the incident to D. Gooch. After speaking to several other members, it was brought to my attention that there had been other thefts. In each incident, it was always cash missing, never jewelry or watches.\r

As time passed, the LA Club did not offer to reimburse me in any way, even after they fired two locker room employees. Last week, I took them to court and due to a waiver we all sign, lost my case. The Club hired a high price attorney, which cost them a large amount of money in legal fees, court fees, etc.; however, they did not offer me one dime. They could have taken that money and offered it to me, but instead they chose to throw it away. \r

I will no longer be coming to the LA Club, which saddens me, but the way they treated me is infuriating and especially after twelve years as an Executive Member. Please be aware of what you put in your locker and your surroundings. I found out the hard way
