DON'T use this company!!! Read on if you still don't believe me.\r \r Please do yourself a favor and do not use this company for residential installations. All went well before the installation and Dan came here for the sale and then for the installation. Both doors and installation cost us 4800 for nice Clopay, Coachman style white doors. When I arrived home from work I was surprised that there were dents in the new door that we paid approximately 2500 for and that the other door didn't line up correctly with mismatched gaps and the door was touching the wood on the side. I called All Island Garage Doors and informed them that the new door is not acceptable with dents in the front and back and that the alignment needed a little attention. Dan came and ordered a section and told me he would fix the alignment when he replaced the section. The section took almost 2 months after the ""incorrect one"" came in and had to be reordered. Here I am over 10 months later waiting for Dan to replace the entire door or give some money back because the section didn't line up correctly in the design of the door. Clopay stated to me that they would never replace a section unless it was the top glass because it wouldn't line up and they would sent an entire door but this wasn't a manufacturer defect it was caused on the install. This company has blown me off over and over again. I have contacted BBB and Consumer Affairs and after about 4 weeks they aren't even getting back to these agencies. Small claims court is on the agenda if I don't hear back in two more weeks. BOTTOM LINE- If they don't care about getting back to the companies that help mediate business to customer issues what makes anyone think they care about the individual. STAY AWAY...STAY FAR AWAY. more
