April 2, 2013 - The manager named Michael J. at the Desert Sands Mobile Home Community in Cathedral City, CA, has by far the VERY worst management/professional skills I have seen. He is flat out rude to callers, states he “does have time to answer prospective buyer’s questions” after rudely talking with them for ONLY 1:09 minutes!! I suspect something may be very wrong with this poor sad man. I shudder to think what the current residents in this MOBILE home park must feel like when dealing with this type of angry person! Further, Michael is of some very strange mindset that when a person calls him on behalf of their elderly mother wanting to know details about how much the rent space goes up and what are the written policies regarding this subject, he responds by accusing the caller of being a sales call....WHAT? Michael will then tell you that there is NOTHING put into writing regarding the ‘space rent’, but common logic dictates that this statement from Michael is 100% not true. Questions about space rent, is a very normal and intelligent inquiry for any well-functioning individual. All sound prospective buyers would always have these questions and request to review the bylaws that surround future space rent increases etc. No matter how much money one has in their savings, mutual funds, free and clear wealthy assets, etc. budgets are imperative to have. To tell prospective residents that they do not have any written document that pertains to the space rent increase policy (which we all know of course DOES indeed exist, yet this HIGHLY difficult and unpleasant man is steadfast in stating NOTHING IN WRITING EXISTS)…..oh please with this crazy talk Michael! WTF is that all about? \r If care you to witness the insurmountable evidence of this managers utter disregard for anyone who calls him to ask rent space questions, then I encourage you call him and listen to it happen to you first-hand. If he were not so single-minded of a person who appears to have one specific goal when he answers phone calls (i.e., every word he utters comes out as incredibly rude to the callers), perhaps his daily interactions with other humans would not be so profoundly wicked. Wicked and angry is exactly how this man comes off from the moment he answers the phone. \r How very embarrassed I feel for him. What an angry and sad life this man must have or had to treat perspective residents in such a deplorable way. From one human being to another, Michael I feel pity for your inability to communicate with others in a professional and kind manner. I hope someday you will be able to do this, more for your sake than the poor callers who have had the displeasure of speaking with you.\r \r Sad indeed,\r -Joelle\r \r **The aforementioned information was MY experience with this manager who was rude beyond measure. If your experience with this individual differs, then that is wonderful for you! For others, who did NOT find him helpful or kind in anyway, as was the case with me, then no amount of other ‘PRODDED’ posts here stating how great of a manager this individual is will counter what MY personal experience was with Michael J. If you take my post as rude, then please by all means take it as such. What I stated did in fact take place just as I wrote it. Only fools will bother to argue the truth. Please understand I too found his demeanor exceptionally rude as well. My post represents MY opinion and yours may represent the polar opposite, but that does not mean under any circumstances that I am wrong or the differing opinions are wrong as well. They are what they are… simply opinions of what the individual making the post believes to be an accurate account of the events THEY experienced. I still stand unyieldingly firm on my post. Why should I waiver? What I posted was the truth from MY prospective.\r \r -Joelle\r more
