Everything was fine while my daughter was in the infant's room. When moved to the toddler's room my daughter came home EVERYDAY with marks across her face, she had two bust lips and the last straw was a bite mark and a bloody nose. The director never ackonwledged the bloody nose nor did she apologize. In fact, she argued with my husband saying my daughter's nose wasn't bloody; when in fact I asked the teacher why was her nose was bleeding with the director was standing there but she was too busy trying to explain the bite mark. Yesterday she wanted a DRY piece of bread!!! I have NEVER fed my daughter dry bread. I paid these people in excess of $4000 within 6 months for my daughter to be abused. They never called to apologize or acknowledge what happened to my child. What makes it worse it that ALL the staff LOVED my daughter and said how sweet she is and a helper. She is the only child but I know when someone is being picked on by other kids, especially when they have the scars to prove it. The last two weeks my daughter attended Shining Stars she screamed and hollered in the mornings, one morning she refused to go into the daycare. Well, Thank God for protection!!! I finally figured it out. I hope you reconsider sending your child to Shining Stars. Someone advised me not to but I didn't listen. Please learn from my daughter's horrific experience from this money hungry daycare. They are in it for the money. I am now paying $180 less and my daughter isn't being beat on by other toddlers or hungry. She is actually learning and being potty trained. \r \r \r God bless,\r \r Concerned and very hurt parent more
