To make a long story short, I ended up at TC Tire by accident thinking it was a competitor's shop. They answered my questions re. tires and a new battery and with that in mind I then drove over to "X" by the EP Mall. Turns out TC Tires price was $100 cheaper to merely install a battery (the competition said it would be an additional fee because the battery was in a tough spot.) As a female who's expertise does not lie in automobile mechanics, I would've fallen for this ruse and paid way over. So back I went to TC tire where the service is no nonsense and just what I needed.
