The roofing team was here when they were supposed to be and completed the roof on schedule. I have no complaints with anything regarding the quality of the install. My issues are with the clean up.
There were minor things, bits and pieces of material left in the flower beds which I expected. However an attached awning on my home that sits below my roof was not cleaned off or even attempted. More importantly there were two area in my grass where combined I picked up over 25 roofing nails. This was a high travel area on the side of my home, not a tucked away dark corner of the yard.
Pretty tuff to describe how angry I am about this. I have two small kids and a dog that play in the yard and I'm worried about them finding a nail in the sole of their foot. It's obvious the roofing team didn't sweep my yard with a magnet, trusting the tarps were sufficient protection.
I'm not naive I expected to find a few nails but this was ridiculous and is the only issue I've found to date. I would use this company again if I was assured that the clean up would be done correctly.
