We went to Mr. Kadish to mediate our divorce. He did a good job of outlining how to come to an agreement. We used his advice, and were able to come to an agreement. We wished to get his advice on whether our agreement was fair to both parties before finalizing the paperwork. Upon calling him, he said that we would need to take it to separate lawyers to help make that decision. He could not help us determine what was fair. Our reason to go a mediator was to avoid the cost of lawyers. He was basically taking the easy position to manage paperwork, but not assist with questions on content. So I paid an extra $60 on a phone call to find this out. And to find out we don't need to pay someone $300 per hour to push papers.
