I visited this restaurant recently because they were advertising "kids eat free on Monday night." We went there with our three kids and another adult, so there were six of us dining. When we got the check, the restaurant had added the tip to the bill, AND they had based that tip on the price of the 3 supposed "free" meals! I have no problem with the tip being included for large parties, but I do have a problem with that tip being based on meals that they are not supposed to be charging for! I went to speak to the manager about it, and she was extremely rude. She got defensive and angry IMMEDIATELY, which showed me that I was not the first customer to have a problem with this! She told me that the restaurant was "doing me a favor" by not charging for the kids' meals, and I politely reminded her that, no, it is not a "favor," it is a promotion that you are advertising and the reason we came here.
