I hired MaidPro because i liked their 49 point checklist. I have never had a maid before so I called for a quote. They quoted me $145 to do a deep cleaning on my 1000sqft 2 br house. I had planned on being at the house while she cleaned but the man I spoke with on the phone spoke to me in a way that made me feel like that was uncommon. They sent over a woman named LaQuesha Somersall. She arrived on time at 8:00AM. She immediately started cleaning the kitchen after i walked her through the house and pointed out areas that needed attention. I left to go play golf and my girlfriend was in and out of the house while she was there. I came home that night after work and discovered that she had stolen $1200-1500 worth of cash/coin/valuables from our house. There was a door to a bedroom which was locked with a door knob that needed a key; she used one of my butter knives to break into the room, messing up my door jam and bending the butter knife in the process. I called and told the company about it because that i felt there wasn't much the police could do considering that her fingerprints were all over the house due to the nature of her job. I spoke with the local franchise owner and after she spoke with LaQuesha, she told me that LaQuesha said that she didn't steal and she believed her because she said that ""there were checkbooks and all kinds of stuff that I could have stolen."" The franchise owner informed me that she would not fire LaQuesha unless we filed a police report and she was found guilty in court. LaQuesha also dug through a pile of keys that were in a drawer and pulled my house key off a key ring and stole my house key. We moved that month as we had plenty more valuables that wouldn't fit in her car that we assumed she would be back to take. Oh yeah, she didn't clean crap. She had completed about 60% of the MaidPro 49 point checklist. In conclusion, it's my fault. Don't leave people you don't know in your house alone; I never will again.
