We were really happy with the service and quality we got from Gold & Diamond Source. So much so that this is where we ended up getting my engagement ring! I say ""we"" because I picked it out myself, basically. I've been to a ton of stores in the area and we seriously considered rings from other stores in our local aea, but we kept coming back to Gold & Diamond Source.
For starters, everyone on the staff really knows their stuff about diamonds. They explained the 4Cs and in the end we went with a lovely pear shape diamond (coming back in style!) I loved it the moment I saw it, even though the one in the store was in a different setting. The nice thing is that there's a matching band for this too so it'll sit flush and there's no need to hook anything together.
By the way, based on personal experience, if they tell you a particular stone is going to sell fast, it probably will. We originally wanted another one but my fiance procrastinated and by the time he called back (about two weeks or so later), it was gone and so were the other two we looked at. As such, when we saw this stone that was exactly the size/specs we were looking for, we jumped on it.
