My move with Binding Price Moving wasn?t wholly bad, but I wouldn?t call them again. The movers were 2 days late in arriving for my pick-up, and they ate my food and drank my bottles of water without asking or informing me when I had stepped out to the garage. After the packing and loading, they had the nerve to solicit for a tip because they professed to have done such a good job packing! All they had to do was wrap the furniture in blankets and pack 3 boxes. Everything else was already packed for them! Jake, the manager lied and said my weight was 3000 pounds over the estimate. I knew that was wrong?I don?t have that much stuff, but he stuck by that lie until the delivery of my items, when I received the actual weight ticket and saw the weight was only 882 pounds over. Only when I called him on it did he suddenly change his story, saying he had made a mistake, and even then, HE didn?t admit the error?he had his staff do it for him. Even with the weight overage, I was overcharged on the billing and had to request a refund, which I did promptly receive. My furniture was nicked and scratched where it hadn?t been before, and 3 plastic bins were literally destroyed from the movers? rough handling. The guys who delivered the furniture, Frank and Brian, were friendly, personable and eager to assist. They kept the Binding Price Moving experience from being totally bad. Jake?s only saving grace is that until the delivery, he took every call I made to him.
