My husband and I ate at the restaurant this evening and after waiting a very long time for our food I was only able to finish half, so I had it boxed up. I then forgot the box and we went home. When I got home I realized my error so my husband drove back as it had only been a half-hour or so. He went to the server and they had thrown my box away! When my husband got home I called the restaurant to speak to the manager to make sure this was correct. I was put on hold for about ten minutes without any reply, so I hung up.\r

If you want good service and don't want your food immediately thrown away should you forget it (which I am sure happens very often) DO NOT eat at Italia, there are so many better choices in San Diego.
